Hope, Triumph, and Everyday Joy

A few years ago, my friend Aileen recommended I follow the blog nieniedialogues. Author Stephanie Nielson blogs about her adorable family, and it seems that everything she touches turns cute. Cute dresses, cute house, cute crafts, cute kids, etc. Then, tragically, in the summer of 2008, Stephanie and her husband were flying in a small plane across Utah when it crashed. They survived, she barely (80% of her body was burned and she now faces a lifetime of surgeries), and she detailed her recovery on the blog. And now in a new book. The Nielsons were featured in last Sunday’s Parade Magazine (photo). Mrs. Nielson, Nie Nie, continues to make things cute. I was so happy to see the Nielsons thriving. And, Stephanie just gave birth to their fifth child, a precious baby girl named Charlotte.
